FEMALE LEADERSHIP BURSARY

Industry Sponsored Bursary

Tammy Evans, our Immediate Past President, has generously offered to sponsor an annual bursary to support the educational progress of a female student candidate in the Canadian construction industry. Tammy recognizes that although the construction industry has been a traditionally male-dominated field of employment, women should have equal opportunity to enter the industry and be supported and promoted into leadership roles as well as their male colleagues and can play an equally important role in the success of the industry.

The Evans family is pleased to offer a bursary to be presented yearly to assist the successful candidate in pursuing a career in the Canadian construction industry who demonstrates leadership qualities through her studies, volunteer work and/or other relevant life experiences related to her desire to succeed and take a leadership role in the construction industry.
